The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is one of the most sought after and prestigious civil services in India, and is responsible for providing efficient and effective governance at the national, state, and local government levels. IAS officers are responsible for implementing government policies and programs, formulating and executing public policies, and providing effective administration in the state and central government departments.
